Hi I’m Tracy.

I am the owner of Swimming Tales and also teach swimming and Aquaerobics.

I have always loved swimming and was a competitive swimmer as a child. I started to help teach swimming at the age of fifteen and basically have never stopped!

I used to run my own swim school at a local school pool but in 2004 decided to take the plunge of having my own pool built. I came across Lubards Farm and felt it was the perfect venue as there are no other swimming pools in Rayleigh and it also benefits from a large car park. My dream was to create a swimming centre of excellence which provides a personal friendly service. The pool and surroundings were uniquely designed with the teaching of swimming in mind, and includes a large spectator’s area for parents as well as a shop for all your swim goods.

Swimming Tales opened its doors in March 2005 and has gone from strength to strength and we are continually upgrading and improving. I love my job as no two days are ever the same and I find it very rewarding. I also coach at Chelmsford swimming club where my children train and are now both Regional swimmers.

I hope that if you come see us you will agree that I have achieved my dream.
